Re: Donk gets paid.....My first brag.

so you were already going against basic bankroll management, but nor horribly, so you think it is okay to go way over br management rules? i love this logic [/ QUOTE ] I have two reasons...may not be good ones. First at bodog there are no short handed tables at the 10max level and second i keep losing stack after stack to LAP and LPP at that level. I have been able to make a profit at the 25max tables...I do understand the risk. Should i go back to the 10max till i hit 20 buy ins at the 25max...seems like it would take forever. Re: Donk gets paid.....My first brag.
Um if you are very good at poker 10 buyins per day at NL10 playing like 6hours a day at 4 tables should be sustainable. If you have time to put in solid time for a week at NL10 and are playing very well then definitely can double your BR in that span.

Re: Donk gets paid.....My first brag.
[ QUOTE ]
First of all, everybody on here was a little guy once (or still is). I liked reading this, reminded me of the first time I played NL100 and started shaking when I drew pocket kings. When I had my first thousand dollar day (which was actually my first two thousand dollar hour), I just walked around the block and felt like I was on top of the world. That was after working very hard to build a BR up though, and not because I moved up to try and get unstuck or because I was on tilt. Chasing losses is a very dangerous habit to get into and honestly there is just no reason to do it if you are a winning player. When you're stressed about money, or stressed in general, it's also almost impossible to be thinking effectively at the table (unfortunately you can't just nut peddle anymore as the games have gotten tougher). Glad it worked out for you, though, you'll be at higher stakes soon enough. Just focus on playing well. Adam [/ QUOTE ] |
