I read all that crap. What a waste of time. The hand is fine against this villain.

Not a huge fan of the preflop raise, I'd just get in cheap for a buck with a very marginal hand. The rest looks fine to me.

LOL this is a tiny mistake if it is one at all. Save it for someone who cares. Learn the real reasons behind "standard" plays and you might just improve your game.

i think this is more then just a tiny mistake. you should take some advice from the people around here and instead of being a condesending douche try and learn why what we are saying is correct, and why what you are saying is wrong.

you say limp behind against this guy. well first off you wont be playing against this guy. you will be 4 handed. KJo doesnt play well 4 handed. not to mention we have position here. so if we miss we have a good chance of taking it down with a cbet. not to mention the times he has limped in with 59s and decideds to fold and we take it down preflop. so instead of being a know it all noob you should read some more.

raising > folding >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>>>> calling

Preflop is obv perfect.

Um, yeah, cause you isolated the donk with a powerhouse like KJo?

lol at not raising KJo with position against a fish like this. this whole hand is standard and well played.

I think you have to bet that turn to see where you are at.

Without betting the turn, I would have a very hard time calling on the river, unless I had a good read on this guy and could put him on a bluff.

I believe I would bet the turn..

Fold to reraise

If he called the turn, Fold to a good sized lead bet on river.

Otherwise check the river.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is a very bad way to play against a guy like this (very aggro donk). If you check the turn he'll bluff about 110% of his hands on the river. If you bet the turn he'll fold a lot of hands, check-raise with his monsters and some bluffs.

[/ QUOTE ]

I hear what you are saying here.

However, my concern with this play would be my hand vs. the board. I only have a pair of kings with a J kicker, and most importantly no heart. This is a vulnerable hand. On the turn there is $30 in the pot, which is not a horrible win by itself. I don’t think I would mind taking it down on the turn.

I very well could be off on my thinking here b/c I do not yet have a great understanding of these poker tracker numbers. Against someone with numbers 56/26/1.7, would you almost blindly call a river bet in this situation? I would really not like calling a near pot sized bet if another heart came or if the board paired again, 7 or 3.

My 2 cents

A heart makes me hesitate. If the board pairs, thougth, I'm snap-calling instantly.
