Default $4/180 challenge - looking to pass it on to another poster...

Hey all...

After running the Tuesday Night 4/180 challenge for the past eight months (or so), my free time on Tuesdays is decreasing. New job, baby on the way, not to mention a pathetic downswing which is reducing my ability to actually PLAY in the challenge...

SO... I'm looking for somebody who would be willing to take over for me.

I have a nice little tool built in Microsoft Access which manages pretty much everything. All that you do is enter the players and the four tourney IDs into the database. You then request the tournament summaries & import them into the tool. It calculates the points, assigns the prize payout, etc.

So the job description involves:
- Posting the challenge description on Tuesday afternoons
- Having people transfer you $$ on Stars
- Enter the runners into the DB (if you choose to use it)
- Post the 1st tournament ID in the forum based on the rules
- Post a list of runners after registration closes for the 1st tourney
- Import the tournament summaries into the DB (or whatever you choose to use) to figure out the points / standings
- Transfer the $$ to the winners.

Nice to do's include:
- an AIM chatroom
- Posting interm scores
- Colour commentary near the end if there's a race between two people...

Ideally the person who takes over has some basic Access understanding (if they want to use the tool), and they have some history with 2+2, as they will be trusted with $$.

So if you're interested in taking over, please identify yourself. I'm still around for a while - I'll be able to handle today & next week for sure. But May 8th is iffy, and I'm definitely not available on May 15th...

OT --

Just let me offer a public thanks for your running it so many times. Hopefully someone here can take it on.

I'd be able to do it most tuesdays i think, though i occasionally have to play pool (English style) for a team in my home town.

I'd prefer not to, because i live in the UK and i would have to stay up till about 5am to finish the challenge, but its a really good competition so i hope it continues.

Cliff notes: I'll do it if no one else does it
