I don't see how they can ban them anyways. I mean they ban one and 10 new ones will pop up.

Enable virus scanners, firewalls etc...Don't allow the program to connect to the internet for instance. I do not recommend you download unknown software if you're incapable of protecting yourself. I should have clarified that in the original post.

Adding that to what others have been saying in this thread, I'm convinced now that PS allows this kind of software, and PP tolerates it at least.
