Default CAZ Regulars

Just for fun.....favorite Floorperson?

My vote is for Michelle. Always nice, but never a pushover.

She might be the best choice. I've been very friendly w/ her for years. She's good at rulings too.

'Sonny' and 'Albert' for honorable mentions.

Edit to add:

You don't get to interact w/ her all that much at 5-150, do you? That makes your nomination even more astute.

I'd agree that Michele is great. I've missed dealing with her since they moved the 5-150 to the main board.

She still makes the occasional call over at the 5-150s. And I’ve been playing 5-150 since it opened up back at the “high stakes” area. I also had a few month stint at the 20/40s before I realized the huge variance (and thus insufficient bankroll). I’ve always thought that she’s by far the most consistent, courteous, and professional of the group.

Albert and Chris come in second for me. For some reason, I always have those two together in my head. I think they started flooring at about the same time. Anyway, Albert made a bad call that cost me about $600 a little over a year ago, but I still like him. He actually appologized a few weeks later, which I though was very cool.

I'm thinking about taking a trip to CAZ next month - what games are the spreading right now other then the 20/40 and 5-150? I've been playing in the 6/12-15/30 range lately and could see sitting in 20/40 since i've heard so much about that game, I'm just wondering what my other options are and what a typical wait time is during the week and on the weekend. Thanks!

Sounds like you'll choose between 6/12, 8/16, and 20/40.

8/16 is by far the tightest of the three. I believe they usually only run one (maybe two) tables of this game.

Weekday wait for 20/40 usally isn't bad. Friday and Saturday you'd better get there before 5pm or after midnight. Any time in between is pointless. Actaully, that goes for any game in the house. I suggest showing up around 5 on Fri and Sat.

That is interesting to me that the 8/16 is a tight game. I've played 8/16 in Tucson and at Canterbury Park(although it was 2 years ago) and in both rooms, it is the loose/agressive game. (mind you i never played 30/60 at canterbury)

Thanks for the info, I planned on making a long weekend out of it and was hoping to play 2-3 8 hour sessions. I guess I am still a little gunshy from experiences at foxwoods and waiting 4 hours for a 5/10 table on a saturday morning.

I would also add Mike, he is very concerned with the game and understands the game.

I have always liked Brian. He seems to have a way to deal with the 'tough' customers.

I don't have a complaint with any of the floor, service on the other hand, that could be a long thread.
