Re: List of eWallets for Canadians
[/ QUOTE ] Royal Bank charges $15 for all incoming international bank wires. The $15 fee is in the currency of the wire. So U.S. currency means $15 U.S. I believe CIBC charges $10. BMO is looking very good to me right now. [/ QUOTE ] Are you sure about the RBC wire fees cardman? The person I talked to at RBC said it cost $15 CAN to recieve a incoming wire in GBP Sterling. Big difference between $15CAN and 15GBP. |

Ask the teller about Canadian and U.S. bank wires and they'll tell you that I'm right. Not sure about GBP though. Probably because the currency spread is wider there. I would avoid Royal Bank. Their fees suck. |

Re: List of eWallets for Canadians
For those considering BMO, I've had great success with their investorline account. I get competitive exchange rates between my US and Can accounts. I also use their US funds credit card to make deposits on sites.

Re: List of eWallets for Canadians
Anyone out there made successful deposit/withdraws using MB on eurobet or betsson? When I asked eurobet they responded:

Neteller was listed as the default option so I asked them if I could withdraw using mb. Requested the withdrawal from Eurobet on April 20th (Friday) and the money was in my moneybookers account on Monday April 23rd. Didn't even need to make a mb deposit first. Betsson I'm not sure, but moneybookers is listed as a banking option for me in my account. They do state however, that you must make a moneybookers deposit before you can use it as a withdraw option at Betsson. |

Re: List of eWallets for Canadians
Contacted PokerStars and asked if the echecks would ever return:
"Unfortunately we do not expect Instant eChecks will be available again within the foreseeable future." Then there was a bunch of BS about how I should pay a bunch of money with epassporte in order to give them rake. I guess I'm playing Party now ... ::sigh:: |

I talked to my bank, and they said that I can go to a TELLER with the debit card and withdraw as much as I want (up to the 10k max of C2Pay, IIRC)...so you easily can turn the 2% to $15 into a 0.15% fee. I'd never use an ATM since most are only 500 max. [/ QUOTE ] Black Knight which credit union do you use? This is very curious... |
