TWO PAIR LOL
Villain is like 24/16. Every street aside from preflop is questionable here, but I think flop/turn are both sorta standard in a way, but I do tend to play these weakish hands sorta passive OOP against solid players, fwiw. Most interested in thoughts on the river call, though. Good/bad? Why? What do you think he has?

Re: TWO PAIR LOL
I fold the river, you're really only hoping he had air here, he probably checks down KQ and AQ if he's decent, right?

Re: TWO PAIR LOL
I think I would make a reraise somewhere. Turn perhaps? Pop the turn to around 33. If he calls, river will most likely go check-check. You still save 7$ if it's played like this and the chances of him folding to a reraise on turn are not bad...

Re: TWO PAIR LOL
By his turn bet it seems a lot like he's milking so I'd fold the river here with only 2:1 against such a villian.

Re: TWO PAIR LOL
Villain is cold calling preflop with a semi wide range, most suited connectors and the like. Aside from the nut flush or the second nut flush, I expect him to check down anything he thinks can win in a showdown (small flush, set, top pair, etc) and bet air and the nut / 2nd nut flush. He will have the nut flush here sometimes, no doubt. But his range is very wide in this spot IMO preflop/flop but when he bets the river his range is polarized to be basically the nuts or nothing. I think a call should definitely be considered, even though we have a pure bluff catcher.
Besides A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] X[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] X[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], what can he have that beats me with this action? |

Re: TWO PAIR LOL
I don't think flop is standard,
I would definitely bet here. I'm not sure what to make of river, it's hard to imagine him betting much worse, but given how underrepped you are, I think it should be a call. |

[/ QUOTE ] im calling because im just a stubborn donk that doesn't know when to lay down 2 pair or higher but still, for this river it seems to me that Q9 plays about as well as QT here (which is close to what you're repping) as he's not going to be betting AQ or KQ here much at all. |
