Re: Calling and folding on sb
I'm assuming the converter stuffed up here & you are in fact in the SB. I'm raising PF. Otherwise ur hand looks fine.
Edit: I may c/r the turn, but maybe a b/3b line isn't too bad either. |

Re: Calling and folding on sb
I like bet/3bet line. he cant take free card save a bet, hell call very light, and we can get action from moderately strong hand.

Re: Calling and folding on sb
I would raise pf. I also would dare to go for the c/r on the turn if I didn't have a read that makes it very likely that he would check through turn.

Re: Calling and folding on sb
In a 2/3 structure it's fine to open complete a lot. If the guy never raises you should never open fold your SB. A2o is, in general, a raising hand. However, as played against this player, it could very well be a fold after you decide to just complete. In fact, I think it is. You'll make very little postflop when you flop an ace and are best, you'll lose a lot postflop when you flop an ace and are dominated, and every other flop is pretty much ridiculous to play out of position.

Re: Calling and folding on sb
Open completing Ax in the SB is fine against a lot of opponents who will not give you credit for an A postflop and spew accordingly. I am not sure this villain is one of those types tho.
Open completing in the SB in general is just fine with a lot of hands against various opponents. In particular in a 2/3 structure where I am not folding anything against a passive and bad BB. In this particular hand I pretty much agree with what Miles said. I am folding to the raise preflop. |
