Default Weak tight vs. great lay down

There are a couple situations I can think of that most people have had to deal with at one time or another playing poker. More geared towards NL play, it's critical to fold those 2nd best hands. Your HU and you have the 3rd nut flush facing a large bet from your opponent on the river. Do you call, or fold? Same situation and this time you have top 2 pair with broadway looking right at you. Again, facing a large bet, do you call or fold? Obviously there is a lot to consider when making these decisions and it would be impossible for me to put it any other way then to tell you of a few examples. So assuming we believe were beat (but maybe not) and fold the hands I described, is this weak tight or just a great laydown?

Depends how often he bluffs the river and how large a bet. Doesn't it?
