I play a fair few of the $3.40 sng and TT-QQ are difficult to play. You need to raise enough PF to scare away Ace rag but it is so hard to do. Some ace will always call even out of position and to an all-in with a [censored] ace. SB had an ace for me thats a check/fold to bet on the flop.

I have just played a hand that will someway illustrate what I mean in a 2 player sng. I will post on this forum later.

right, but what do you do when you're last to act after the flop, and the other players have checked?

In my experience at these levels the idiots thinks that the better players raise with PP so they call with an ace and hope to hit. If they do they check hoping you will c-bet so they C/R and look good when you fold. Just my opinion on the image thing but the C/R happens alot.

Well, I don't think it matters much what you do in this spot.

You can check, cause you won't get someone that called preflop with an Ax hand to fold when he hits TP. So, you aren't getting better hands to fold.

The question with betting, is will worse hands call. Ie., is there value in it? On this flop it is possible. It is some what connected and suited, so some draws and hands like 88 will look you up.

So, there are arguments to both betting and checking. Reads on the players involved in the hand would sway my decision.

Some people have given you reasons in this thread that I strongly disagree with. I'm with the crowd saying raise to 150 preflop, to make the pot more manageable post flop.

But, I'm absolutely against thinking you need to raise enough here to get the Ax hands out. You do not want these people folding with worse hands. You want them to call. And you want them to hit their x, so you can stack the Ax playing donks. Not to mention the 70% of the time they'll just miss the flop completely and you take down a decent pot on the flop.
