$11s 4BB push any two now that I have some FE ?
Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t200/t400 7 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: t4940 Hero: t1530 MP1: t1210 CO: t1990 Button: t4680 SB: t3260 BB: t2390 Pre-flop: (7 players) Hero is UTG+1 with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG folds, Hero raises all-in t1530 So the thing is, if I get through the blinds, I have 0 FE, so, should I push any 50%+ hand ? |

Yikes. I guess if this is the first spot you've seen, take it. But it is -EV.

Wow, get sngpt and run this, it is a truly dreadful spot to shove. You need a minimum of KQ or A rag to shove here, and even I'm not sure if that's plus ev. I think you're better off waiting until the BB hits you unless you pick up a better hand in utg. Usually in the PP speeds and I have like 400 in the BB and only 1000 behind, I call any raise regardless of my hand pretty much (other than like 42o). I'd much rather wait 2 hands and get it all in in the BB. J7 is easily dominated and is not connecting. If you had a hand like 87s I would consider pushing that because it's less likely to be dominated.

I fold this, yes it is correct to push here with some slightly -ev situations but this is massively -ev, so i will wait.
