"Is there any way to go over hands with different payout structures with a program like SNGPT."

SNGPT allows you to plus in whatever pay structure you want. Purchase it and use it.

Just purchased SNGPT so I will have fun with it for a while. I didn't know if there was anything out there where you could enter different payout structures so hopefully this will answer a lot of my questions on marginal spots with 3-4 players in a hand.

Yes.

And if anyone's had any experience with a structure like this before (although from the sound of it I'm guessing not), do other players tend to wait around for 3rd like in a 50-30-20 structure or do they gamble it up a bit more when there's 4 players left?

Its probably similar, people want to get money (even if its just breakeven) so there is still a bubble at 4 players. You can probably be aggressive at the 3 person profit bubble since they won't want to get 3rd either.

The bubble isn't nearly as important.

Push less/call more 4+ handed. Push more/call less 3-handed

I think I kinda understand what you're getting at here, but wouldn't it make sense to push more 4 handed as opposed to 3 handed if the price of busting/bubbling isn't as high? (i.e. you could only lose $10 but potentially win $20-40 if you bubbled and finished 4th while trying to make a run for 1st or 2nd, but would win more like $0-10 if you squeak in as a short stack in 3rd and have very little chance of getting 1st or 2nd). I'd think people would play a bit more timid in trying to get into the money with 4 players compared to trying to get to 2nd with 3 players, so it would be a better spot to be more aggressive and chip up to make a run for 1st. Maybe the part that's throwing me a bit is the "calling" more/less part as I'm pretty sure I'd only be pushing/folding when down to 4, but idk..

3 guys go to rent a hotel room, the room is $30, so they each pay $10. Later that night the hotel guy finds out the room is only $25 so he gives $5 to the bell boy to split between the 3 guys. The bellboy did not know how to split $5 in 3 ways so he kept $2 for himself and gave $1 to each guy so the guys only paid $9 a piece right? So if the guys paid $27 and the bellboy kept $2, where is the other dollar?

[/ QUOTE ]

The $2 tip that the bellboy kept should be included in the $27 that they paid for the room, not added on to it.

The other $3 was returned to the 3 guys from the manager.
