I hate it that they both will be on the same day (I read that somewhere)

I liked how HSP was on Monday and WPT on Wed

I believe that's how every tv show works, it's produced, then sold to a network. Or at least most of 'em.

I think in the short-term, Travel Channel will suffer because WPT is probably its highest-rated show. However, there's a general consensus among the pros that poker is dying due to internet gambling restrictions, and not as many new players are getting involved the way they had been. The WPT moving to GSN seems like a pro-active response from the Travel Channel, and a direct result of the internet restrictions.
