I believe you're referring to the first six notes sir, not eight.

Is nobody going to argue for the Jackson Five 'I want You Back' or Michael Jackson 'Billy Jean', or James Brown 'Sex Machine'?

I don't think I even heard the Star Spangled Banner until I was 20 years old, by the way, and I grew up near London.

This is what came to my mind first. I think it might be the most recognizable, but I'm sure a lot of people would hear the guitar and recognize it, but not be able to name the song.

Are you including the rests as notes or what?
I count 8 (looking at the sheet music it's technically 9 notes since the last one is two half notes)

I think anyone arguing something other than this, Happy Birthday or Alphabet song, twinkle twinkle or other variant, is way off base
