I officially announce that I'll strangle Zeldark if I ever meet him. That frito nick seems to catch on.

I didn't read that part before. I'm an R-tard. It all makes sense now. And most Americans who haven't memorized the spelling of your name will think "frito" before "frete" due to the snack, which apparently doesn't exist with that name in Germany!

I've been laughing for about the last 10 minutes. Heard this exchange between a ref and a kid that was playing in the Under-15 division this weekend (the kid had been ragging on the ref about his calls all game):

Ref: "Hey, aren't those your folks over there?"
Kid: "Yeah, why?"
Ref: "Why don't you go tell them about it. Maybe they care. Well, your mom might."

I laughed so hard I think I peed a little.

I think I just wasted 2:49 of my life watching how a spoiled girl can't drive a stick. But what is life without wasting time?

buzz or kerowo or benny or someone was talking about this on the last page...

If your new machine comes with an OS pre-installed, the install disks should certainly come with it, im pretty sure it is illegal for the vendor not to do that.

no CDs; it's one of those deals where the OS is on another partition for system recovery. I've learned my lesson on that one.

[/ QUOTE ]

Used to be you could call the manufacturer and request CD's, too. That's probably gone away with Microsoft's unending zeal to prevent any chance of an unauthorized copy ever existing anywhere ever (did I say ever?). It's even part of their 'forward-looking' disclaimer in their financial disclosures.

Actually, MP2 played the flop and turn perfectly. NH for him.

[/ QUOTE ]

never mind the weak preflop call & not betting the river?

[/ QUOTE ]

Who said anything about pf or river play? I was talking about the two well played streets.

Don't be such a pessimist. The glass is half full.

Edit: Also, I like MP2 checking behind vs the paired board so as to avoid a c/r from a FH.

After losing 30BB at 1/2 this morning SH because no one wanted to move from their 7 deep waiting list at Stars, I switched to 10NL at FTP.

700 hands. Down 4 buyins. Those hands where I didn't collect the blinds with AA-QQ, AA-QQ were running into sets from hands like 44 and 77. Of course I had KK run into AA today and TT get called to the river after KK 2x'ed it from late position and I pot-ted from the BB. Dry board call call call. I want to break my laptop against the wall. I just did pushups until it felt like my shoulders were going to snap after a [censored] LAG player bet bet bet into me with a Q high flush draw when I hit my straight on the turn. He of course connects on the river. I called his bet.

[censored] poker.
