Default I fold a big Overpair! (Stars Warmup)

UTG is running at 11/3 over 60 hands.

I know that just calling preflop gets me a multiway pot, but that doesn't really bother me because I think I play good and stuff. Should it?

How do you like my flop line?

I guess this has to be correct. His flop lead is super fishy.

wait, why is the 1500 hundo raise on the flop bad? I'm not being arguementative, i'm genuinely curious. Seems like a play I would make (the laydown included after UTG jams), but if it's a bad play I would like to know why so I stop making it as often as I do. thanks again in advance

AE,
Raising the flop is fine IMO because it was minbet to him.

I can't believe I'm saying this: "To find out where I'm at" and "protect against draws."

When I called preflop part of the reason why is to see a flop where my equity went up vs (JJ+, AK). The J high flop kinda sucks, but it's better than A/K high. So my equity is a little better than it was preflop.

Drawish board, I felt like I would only get shoved on by better, especially by UTG, and that if either of the other two had a J they would call and I could get another bet in a bigger pot.

I figured the minraise minbet was a hand that had me crushed (JJ+), or something retarded, like AK or something else random. I didn't want to give free cards anymore if ahead (mostly referring to the other two here, not the raiser), since half the turn cards suck, and I thought I could get reliable information from a small raise.

J62r, I'm probably calling and just dealing with it if an overcard turns.
