Re: How to stop Drawing Hands?
[ QUOTE ]
Anything other than shoving preflop is a serious leak. This is a shove with any 2. [/ QUOTE ] I want to understand why its a shove with ATC, it sounds ... "radical" for me ... please explain. I can understand that to shove AJ here is the best option, but with a hand like 67 I cant see a reason why checking down is that bad. Please explain I want to fix that leak |

If you have a garbage hand that is worse than 50% against random hands why would you not want to check here and have another player to help knock out the short stack? If your bad hand gets called by the bigger stack you are probably getting 4th and otherwise youre giving shorty a good chance to double up to around 700 and shorten your stack so you are closer to his. |

Re: How to stop Drawing Hands?
When I was saying any 2, I didn't consider the fact that 4th pays. That certainly makes it much closer. I'm not well versed enough in the 2 table payout structure to say if locking up 4th is enough of a consideration to check down a weak holding.
AJ remains a very easy shove. |

Re: How to stop Drawing Hands?
Whilst this has slightly got away from my beginners question and led to a debate, I have learnt alot from your discussion about what to do in these situations. Cheers.

.....AJ remains a very easy shove. [/ QUOTE ] In these two table games you must shove hands like this in spots like this. This spot is not even close. |
