\"Strong\" Days?
When working out on a regular schedule, do you ever notice that you just feel a lot stronger on some days than others? For instance, doing squats last week, I was doing 205 on my final set without a whole lot of difficulty. I did them this morning and was struggling pretty hard on my last set with 195. I have similar experiences with bench press and deadlift.
Is this a common phenomenon? What causes it, and is there anything I can do to make all my days "strong days?" |

Happens to me all the time. Not sure what causes it.

Re: \"Strong\" Days?
I notice this alot. I have days when Im dropping everything or always tripping up. Those days when I'm not on the money I struggle with motivation for exercise and it follows if I do bother I cant train as hard as normal.
For every day to be a strong day you need to live like a monk. If thats not possible, just regular sleep, good diet and little or no alcohol should help. |

Re: \"Strong\" Days?
I had one of these today. I was doing my upper body KB workout the same way I have for the last 6 weeks, and every set was a struggle to get through.

Re: \"Strong\" Days?
My speculation:
> Optimal blood sugar levels > High level of testosterone > Good diet: High energy and amino acid levels > Peak mental state These things combine to make "strong" days, and when they are off, I get lazy. |

Re: \"Strong\" Days?
Yeah I get this a lot too....It's frustrating being able to lift much more on days then the next you're not doing nearly as much. I think it would be a great idea to see what I'm doing on those days that makes me much more pumped.
