this is one of those spots where he either has it or he doesn't.

This is also one of those spots where he is least likely to be bluffing. Fold and I wouldn't think twice about it. Your only hope is the small chance he has the same hand + the small chance he is bluffing, which compared to your odds make this a losing call.

Also I would bet the turn here. The hand you actually mright want to check behind with here is KK with the lone A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

[/ QUOTE ] everything in this post is plain wrong.

Thanks for the corrections. I must have seen that coming in the back of my mind, so I covered my ass by not making very absolute statements.

Next possibly [censored] Q: Is it really standard to bet the flush for value there? I understand you might get looked up by lower flushes, but do they always call teh flop? Are there other hands you PLO veterans would call the river bet with here?

I would never fold this. I think this is a bluff a huge % of the time. I'd expect a big hand to lead on the river and hope to get paid off.

What is his stars name? With no reads I fold this, but it depends a lot on who it is. This is not for value with less than KT and people aren't really capable of bluff c/r's on the river on omaha, at least on the stars 25/50 game. I think he has quad 3's here most of the time. He has some sort of hand on the flop and generally people don't bluff with their made hands as much as they should.

I'm positive he leads the river with KT and KK and he has some sort of hand, so I'm pretty damn sure he has 33 here.

It seems pretty much the higher the stakes the more aggro it gets in holdem. Thinner bets, pushin more edges, ect.... why cant omaha be like that? Putting 2 hands in his range with this bet seems a bit too tight.

"Its actually a lot harder to make a full house with a 2 paired board in omaha. Wouldn't villian know this and therefore be more likely to try to bluff you off a flush?"

Two paired board you got the nuts sir. No one ever has a full house on two paired board, omaha for dummies!

i play any KK hand before i play 3345,A332 and similar hands. With a hand like 3345 the flop must come down exactly A23 for you to really like your hand, I do play them in good position though but folding any hand with KK while playing 3345 doesnt make sense.

[/ QUOTE ]

you must not be familiar with the raise button, or the bet button. you can use them whenever you like.
