Default NL100, A,10, shorthanded, bet turn?

SB ($201.40)
BB ($22.15)
Hero ($173.60)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Hero raises to $3.5, SB raises to $13, 1 fold, Hero calls $9.50.

Flop: ($27) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets $21, Hero calls $21.

Turn: ($69) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($69) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets $41, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $110

The guy was 33/13 and i was pretty agressive at the table. I wanted to keep the pot down thats why I checked the turn in order to call an unscary river. On the river, I figured I was beat, backdoor flushdraw, including sets and A,J-K,J

If you with tight mean too tight, its not after somebody made a big 3-bet. And ATo gets even worse when you are that deep.

Instantly throw that garbage away preflop. You are deep and chances of being dominated are huge.

why do you ask for advice if you know everything better? what a badly played hand man..

this is a nobrainer muck preflop

the only time you feel confident with your hand is if you flop trips/2pair what actually is pretty rare and you wont clear the money thrown away while not hitting 2pair/trips with that few times.

well deep you can call preflop getting somewhat crappy immed odds as long as you have hands that can turn into huge hands postflop. ATo does not qualify at all. like if you had 33 here it would be an easy call, or even something like 76s etc.
