Almost a FIGHT in the cardroom! Standard?

I'm sitting at the usual 3-6-12 loose/passive table tonight, bored out of my skull and playing ABC poker. I'm in the SB and fold some rags when suddenly at the next table over, I hear, "That's it mother [censored]! I ain't got to listen to this [censored] no more!"

I look up and see some guy at the next table in the 2 seat leaning across the table into the 6 seat and yelling obsenities. The 6 seat is one of my favorite fish who is one of the worst players in the history of Texas Hold 'Em, but LOVES to talk smack when he's on a run.

The dealer is yelling for the floor, the 2 seat guy is now challenging the 6 seat guy to step outside, and our dealer is just continuing with the hand.

Floor comes over, and takes 2 seat guy off the table, and walks him right behind me, like about 2 feet away. 6 seat fish/antagonistic mother [censored] also comes over, right behind me, and the yelling continues.

By now, our hand has ended, and the entire room is watching the 'action' right behind me. I decide that now is a good time to move the hell out of the way, and I walk away from my table.

2 seat guy storms out of the casino (The door is right near the poker room) and floor decides to move my fav 6 seat fish to our table. YIPPIE! Dealer cranes her neck my way and says, "Your Big Blind Sir.", and starts to deal the next hand.

Seat 2 guy finally comes back after 5 minutes and takes his seat at the other table, while 6 seats fish (now at my table) starts to donk off the 3 racks he has in front of him.

I've only seen one poker room fight, and it was pretty one sided. I hear shouting a table over at a 3/6 game and all of a sudden this big guy (he looks and acts like a roided up retard) comes around the table and grabs this other guy by the back of his hoodie as he's running away and throws two big punches into the much smaller guys face, busting his nose and resulting in blood pouring down his face. Everyone in the room was stunned.

The response by security and staff was a joke though, they let the attacking guy pick up and cash out his chips, and it took the pair of 80 year old security guards 2-3 minutes to get to the room. And then no one detained the guy as he walked out.

The casino it took place in already had a reputation as a dive, but this really did it.

I find these things entertaining to watch. Most of the time it's over something stupid. Which makes it even funnier to me. It's funny when the floor has to act like a preschool teacher.(though I do feel for the floor having to put up with this crap)

Yeah, it's standard. As long as no punches were thrown. They basically gave the 2 a bit of time to cool off.

The worst fight I've seen was over a 2-4 game (no lie). Big guy starts wailing on another guy, finally he fights back. I was floor that day, immediately called security. They took forever finally showing up with one pipsqueak about 120 lbs. I wound up breaking it up, which was funny because I was the SMALL guy by about 50 lbs, and I'm not a small guy. I was thinking to myself "rip my suit and IT'S ON.". Stupidity is certainly present in cardrooms, no doubt.

If you were at were at the table where this took place, wouldn't you be steaming at the floor for taking all the money seat 6 has collected and moving it to another table?
