Default Some NBA futures I bet today...

TOR to win East @ 18:1 -- Diamond
NJ to win East @ 35:1 -- Bodog
GS to win Championship @ 200:1 -- Diamond
ORL to win Championship @ 175:1 -- Diamond
TOR to win Championship @ 45:1 -- Diamond

All of these lines seem much more generous than what's offered on TradeSports/WSEX/other books.

i don't follow basketball that much, but i think there's no way in hell the raptors win the finals 40% of the time they get there. so unless you maxed out the east there was no reason to bet the finals.

Dont knock the Raptors, but also, dont think anyone in the east other than Miami has a chance to win the championship.

houston at 28/1 to win it all is not bad. I'd look at cle at at 15/2 in the east to win the east, if there was a bet i would make trying to hit it big.

I actually did max out the Raptors to win the East... that's by far my largest wager.

Diamond is among the most reputable sportsbooks. Same group as BetCris and other skins.

Apologies for bringing negativity into your thread, and I recognize that it's fun to root for longshots, but I'd be curious how you came up with this basket of picks. Simply trying to find slightly better than market numbers, or actual handicapping the likelihood of each of these events?

For the record, I think that none of them are +EV, although the Toronto bet to win the East is pretty close. I believe the combined chance of Golden State or Orlando winning it all is something like .001%.

The best futures bets I see are San Antonio to win it all and Chicago to beat Miami in the first round.

Good luck,

BL
