I want to read 5 books about sales and salesmanship. What 5 books can you recommend? I'm talking about face to face selling not online selling or sales force management. Thanks.

"How I Raised Myself From Failure to Success in Selling" by Frank Bettger. It's the only one I can think of but alot of people have read it and said it helped them out. This guy Bettger was basically a bad life insurance salesman until he decided one day to step it up. Check it out on Amazon and read the reviews.

the vito books are old school and not great imo. Ziglar has a bunch of good stuff, one of my favorites was just a book of a few hundred closes, it's pretty incredible really.
If you do sales management at all sales dogs from the kiyosaki line is pretty good, it's light but has insight on the different sales personalities. It's pretty light for a salesman though. |
