Has she been in Vegas a long time? I swear I've seen a girl who looked just like her in Chicago a few months ago.

Not at all. Looked to be a 40ish fellow who came to Vegas with the sole intent of playing the WPT $25K event. He said he was going to buy in if he had to, but was going to try to satellite in, and wanted to try to sitNgo his way into the satellite. And he kept getting different answers from Bellagio staff, all rudely delivered. He claimed to be an AC regular and was used to staff who were polite and helpful...pretty sad when Vegas doesn't compare well to AC.

I know not of the veracity of what he says. That wasn't 'xactly the point of the post. More simply that there remain many non-fans of Bellagio out there.

The turning over cards in the 2/5 has been done since the very first day the "B" started no-limit 2/5 with the 200 min/max.

I like the flip cards after going all-in rule at the Bellagio. It's more fun, if you're a good player, you should get more information from seeing your opponents cards and if you're playing tight you won't be showing down very often.

What is the point of the OP? "I'm a very generous tipper with other people's money, even at places where the service usually sucks"???

I thought people would be surprised at my comments on the B since I have been pretty critical in the past. The tip was incidental, just part of the whole story. I don't really care what people's opinions are regarding the size of the tip.

But Al, don't you think that maybe the B staff was being nicer because it was a circuit event, and they were therefore more in the limelight themselves at that point? My own experiences at the Bellagio poker room were unfailingly being treated rudely - I was surprised at first until I read comments here on how that seemed to be the way it is there. Since I don't get stars in my eyes just from being at hallowed Bellagio poker room, it was easy for me to just go somewhere else.
I guess management there really doesn't care - or maybe they don't care about how the lower limit players are treated - does anyone here play the "big games", and if so, are you treated nicely, in general?
