puking on the river-1/2 small straight riv pairs
villian is catcher3333 24.2/21.2/3.35 over 1500 hands. preflop i was mixing it up since he bets button light and i wasnt worried about co. i was planing to cr the flop big, little worried bout ak, but thats how we roll. i puked once i saw the river giving alot of his range the win. but i know hes a very capable player of bluffing a good scare card.

ugly spot.
i think you should fold most times. though i can sometimes see a call. i would bet the turn harder as well. |

Re: puking on the river-1/2 small straight riv pairs
was running thru my head like 75/80ish on the turn but i basically had ruled out co from the start, so i kinda wanted value from his range
still suuuuuch a good bluffing card |

Re: puking on the river-1/2 small straight riv pairs
I like a 4 bet preflop because:
a) there is a third player who will probably enter this pot with a wide range/implied odds b) a 4 bet here looks pretty light because the squeeze is so obvious. On this river I would either: a) brunson it with an open push, trying to bluff off a scared king/ possible light value from an 8, or b) C/decide leaning towards C/F to shove C/C smaller bets. (It is much easier to C/F to a shove because villian has to know AK can be in our range, as well as oddly played boats, so he is very unlikely to shove with a bare K himself. looks like a fold.) |
