Beat: Parking Ticket - Variance: Might not have to pay?

Ok so i'm playing basketball at UCSD here and I just got a parking ticket. However, I do not attend UCSD. I've heard in the past that if you don't pay college parking tickets it doesn't matter. Is this true? It says on the back of the ticket that if it's not paid in 21 days that it will be turned over to the DMV... bluff?

No bluff unfortunately. You only need to worry about it tho if you live in the same state.
