Your family should know to email the site and explain the situation, and I'm sure they'll get the money. They'll probably have to jump through a bunch of hoops to verify your death and prove their identities, but it shouldn't be that hard.

I made a list of sites, screen names, and passwords and told my parents where they can find the list with the instructions to check every account and get the money out asap if I die. Im still fairly young and hopefully have a long way to go but this is a sensible precaution that people should be taking.

I am not 100% sure on this procedure as it's not my department, but I think that if the next of kin mail a death certificate to the site, security will let them on to the account to cash out.

A couple of my friends know what my passwords are, that's about as far as I've thought about this.

Death certificate, evidence of kinship, along with a lawyers letter should do the job for any reputable site.

My friend won a satellite in the poker stars million.

I go to the funeral on Thursday. Then Sunday comes and I'm playing in the stars million.

I get my seat moved to the another table and see my friend is still alive in the tourney.................
