LC: What's the best way to build a bankroll from scratch?

Based on advice I got from the Don King of Micro-SNGs, I'm posting this information request to the public for advice.

I just got a $12 pop from Tworags.com and a $50 bonus from FTP and am thinking of making a run at it on FTP.

I've got 2 weeks to earn the bonus from FTP and can hopefully make a working bankroll on that sight with it.

What are your suggestions for my game selection?

(This is semi-serious, though I don't really plan on turning pro, just building a working roll on that site.)

I am typically a full ring $10/NL or $25/NL player, I've had MTT success but don't feel like this is a large enough roll to take a few shots at MTTs. Back when I played on FTP I had some success w/ the turbo SNGs but they were so small that I don't know if this will be enough bang to earn any reasonable piece of that bonus.

What will give me the most bang for my buck while keeping my variance under control?

The rake is horrible but you have 9 buyins for the 1.25s. Load up 9 of them and gogogogogo to robustooooo.

Does the .25 rake count toward the points that I need for the bonus?

Any other advice on this subject besides SNG'n it? IT seems to be the way to go.

Dont bother with the 1 dollar ones just play the 2 dollar sitngos with any amount of decent knowledge on bubble play you can easily 4 table at a 30-50% ROI. the rake is same as dollar tourneys. 5 buyins to start is plenty for those on FTP.

I agree FT is a good place to do it. If you can get HU even if shortstacked you will win a significant number of these. All those 1st will push your roi high although 50% is an exaggeration for sure!!
