3bet flop.

I like calling. Hero 3-bet pre and villan called out of the BB. He is showing decent strength here so I dont think Hero has eq to 3-bet.

I check the river. How can that check be anything but a scared J or a busted FD?

It's fine, don't see much value in betting the river and getting screwed by a J or K, just be happy he offered you a free SD. Busted draws like over or clubs won't call you anyway.

Anyone raising the turn?
It might be useful too know villains tendencies.
Although his flop raise represents a Jack some percent of the time, there is the possibility he is playing a medium to low PP ,flush or straight draw this way.

3bet flop.

why? If he has the J we are just pumping the pot drawing to two outs. If he has the flush draw he can't take a freecard since he's out of position. If he has a 7 or 4 we are better off letting him fire two more barrels and calling down. I just don't see the value in raising when it likely folds out the hands we are beating, but never folds out the flush draw or J.

OP I play the hand the same.

Why would you put villain on a specific hand in this hand? I dont understand... When I hear that I think of my friends who watch too much poker on TV. They think that putting opponents on hands means putting them on ONE specific hand. WTF?

No man.....My mistake i just meant i had a bad hunch that he would flip over JK no specific read that he had exactly JK.... otherwise i would have folded .... If he did have JK he would have played that the same exact way.... JK is one hand he could have been on , flsh draw... str8 draw....Jx....

no one bets this River? is this really a scared J now? Wouldnt he valuebet that? Or is he trying to induce a bluff? Meh i bet here thinking this is scared A7 88 99 + missed A high flushdraw very often wich is paying off sometimes...sure if he had a scared J then youre loosing bet but from his view it doesnt make sense to check a J.
