I would shove preflop. I'm assuming I'll likely get called, but there is a decent chance you just pick up the pot. 6.5xBB is a big bet live. I don't think you are getting called that light. Another factor is that the early limpers may not be able to call due to the later limpers, and if the later limpers have hands like 9Ts, they likely won't call either.
By shoving preflop, you either win 12K chips with no showdown, doubling your stack with no showdown, tremendous; have a flip for a stack of 36k, which is good; or you are drawing to 2 outs for a stack of 36k. Some of this is dependent on your reads of other players at the table. If you are likely to get called in 3 places or something, I would fold PF. I don't think the limp behind is a disaster, but you have to fold this flop with this action. You don't have the odds to draw to a 3. |

I think you're in push/fold mode preflop with this small of a stack, especially given you are the shorty. With that many limpers, I think this is a fold most of the time.
As played, this is a clear fold. It's doubtful the flop bettor is on a complete bluff with this many people in the pot, and a complete bluff is all you beat right now. |

... 33 is too weak to shove here so its a standard fold [/ QUOTE ] so, where, under these circumstances, do you start to seriously consider a shove... 7-7, 8-8? J-J ??? |

Seriously guys, knowing he's covered isn't enough here - do the rest of the players have 20k, 40k or 60k? The correct play will depend on this - it's a disaster if the pot is multiway here.
If you're pretty sure you can get the pot HU - push. Otherwise, fold. |
