Default Very awkward live $50NL hand

Villain is a generally conservative TAG player that is definately capable of making an occational play or making a tough call. We have a long, almost two year history together, during which we both tended to avoid eachother a little bit and grind out with fish. This is one of the most awkward spots I've been put in in a while because my gut feeling was that I was ahead and villain was acting a bit weak, though hand ranges made this call nearly impossible. Comments, please:

Hero holds Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Preflop:

Villain (UTG) raises to $1.50, 2 folds, BTN calls, SB folds, Hero calls.

Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero checks, Villain bets $3, BTN folds, Hero raises to $9, Villain calls.

Turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero bets $13, Villain goes all-in for $43.25, Hero?

this is an easy call unless he is really a huge nit and even then i expect him to show up with AA/KK/AQ enough to make it good. you have outs against the nuts, and there are tons of draws.

Yes, this hand is live. I don't understand how no one is even considering that villain has a set here, his range definately does not include AQ, KQ, or QJ. I'm curious what you can possibly be putting him on here to justifiy a call?

There are eight combos villian can have a set. Hmm AQ/AK/AA/KK have a lot more combos. And the board is drawy, so you're ahead of his range.

I guess with your history with him it may be a tougher call, if in your time together he has never pushed one pair then you can lay it down..

It is certainly possible he has a set (77?). What is his utg opening range?

Villain's UTG opening range is something like any two broadways, any PP from UTG. He has never pushed a draw into me and has never pushed a TPTK type hand into me. Also, he generally plays his draws passively.

go with your read, but why do you say that AQ is not in his range? Are you saying that he would only push with 8,9 or a set? Are you sure he wouuldn't play KK or AA this way?
