$100nl hu cash. Top pair OOP
Villain is very aggressive, he will raise and reraise preflop a lot of the time and doesnt seem to give up post flop much either. I havnt had anything to go to showdown with though so im not sure what he's holding.

Re: $100nl hu cash. Top pair OOP
I played a very similar very hand last night where i kept getting reraised preflop and i reraised all in on the flop, now that i think of it probably not a good move against a solid players calling/folding range.
I think you played it fine, though on river i probably lead for half pot and fold to a raise. |

Re: $100nl hu cash. Top pair OOP
given this pf b.s., what kind of range are you putting him on?
----- HOLE CARDS ----- dealt to DTheater [Jh Kh] Kris27034: calls $0.50 DTheater: raises to $4 Kris27034: raises to $7 DTheater: calls $3 a checkraise commits and his line, call sb followed by minraise is aa/kk a lot from donkish players. also, in terms of the c/c, check the turn line, think about all the cards that will mess up the board enough for him to check behind on that turn. i don't like any line too too much but c/c the flop and lead turn any non A or Q turn might be best. also, i think your thoughts on half potting the river are correct. |

Re: $100nl hu cash. Top pair OOP
I like the half pot river here, it's a pretty dangerous board for anything but a queen to raise.
I also think the flop bet keeps him in line on the turn a lot of times because like you said all those cards that can make him check the turn there... your goal here is probably to get to showdown fairly cheap without being bluffed off this hand and I don't think you stand up well to a raise on the turn if you c/c the flop, lead turn, if he has anywhere near a decent bluffing % on the turn you're going to be laying this down too often with this line. At the same time we don't need a semi bluff from a stupid hand like AT on this turn, a hand that probably will call the flop and check check the turn IMO. So I like it as played, adding in that river half pot. |

It was at the point were i was almost expecting him to raise or reraise any raise i made. This is the problem with leading any street, i just felt like he could bluff me at any point, which would make laying it down to a raise difficult. |
