Subject: Cruise Promo[#4303103]

I would like to make my claim for the Party Poker Million V cruise promo
email I received last week. I have earned over 25,000 regular Party
Points since Dec 24th and have over 50,000 Party Points in my account to
buy the package.

Please acknowledge that you have received my claim for my package. I
will resend this email after the points are officially updated.

I tried sending this email at 12:30 AM EST, but I did not receive a
response.

Thanks,

Nick

I'm fully prepared for the crap I'll take for not making it if that's what happens.

Good luck, I think we'd all hate to see you go through with this and not get a cruise spot.

If anyone tries giving you crap though, ask them how often they make $5k. I bet you'll shut them up real quick.

I'm somehow listed in LJ this way? How did that happen?

but yes... bobspokerblog.blogspot.com is what I use.

I haven't been updating very much the past couple months though. My readership has thus gone down to about zilch. Oh well.

AA suited - I finished down about $4k for my stretch. And that was $4k I probably shouldn't have been parting with...but whatever.

Metetron - They told me to write back after my points page was updated too...but I agree that they still aren't being quite as warm and fuzzy in their e-mails with you.

I also agree that I'm always pretty conservative in my estimates. Guess it's my nature somehow (which is kind of weird actually since I'm always WAY to optimistic with my pot-odds and am always chasing too much).

But I admit right now that I'm practically 'taking it to the bank' in my mind even though I don't really know at all if I got it.
I'll be pretty disappointed if I don't get it. But life goes on.

no, I never heard of anyone who got the points but didn't get the cruise last year. I considered that angle as well. But somehow I think there were more people going for it this time around for some reason.
I think that Nick B's experience where they gave it to him kind of 'after the fact' is somewhat encouraging.

After they did the 30k points for first 20 players last year they later did a 15k regular points for 10 players promotion.
I thought that perhaps they did this because they still had spots left-over from the first promo.

50 hours of play is pretty good. I think it took me 53 hours total but that was at 3/6 BBJ at silver-club.

you were getting 0.9 points per raked hand at blue-club 10/20 6-max, I was getting 1.5 points per raked hand at silver club 3/6 BBJ....but more of the hands were unraked and obviously they come slower on a full-ring table.

Probably about 50% were raked on 3/6 BBJ vs. 80% (maybe??) raked on 10/20 6-max.

It's much more convenient for me to have things in LJ, so every time I run across a blog I'm interested in I syndicate it.
