I too am a fan with a flop cbet, turn check and a river call.

Is it standard to call down a flop c/r?

yea, i did think about how i would play it if he did c/r flop. since he was def. aggro, i felt like i might have to call down if he did so. so part of my thought process was that checking behind on flop would be better (or make my decision easier, which i guess is pretty weak).
