you can get the commuter rail from woburn right into boston's north station or south station, from those you can go anywhere.

using public transportation it might take around 45 minutes to get from the game to woburn.

I live 2 secs from El Pelon, holla! FWIW there is a bank of 3 restaurants next to El Pelon too, and the Linwood Bar and Grill is right near it as well, along with a new upscale steakhouse "The Burton Grill" on Boylston.

If it's a fat per diem, go to Capital Grille...aquarium & omni theater are good thangs (& science museum not too bad from what I remember of field trippin). Only thing I remember bout Woburn is that we pwned them in sports (selective memory maybe? I don't remember)

Yeah if you're from TN, getting your hands on some good clam chowder should be your #1 priority in Boston.

Clam chowder here is great, but i'd avoid Legal Seafoods. I've noticed it's pretty much Boston's joke on the tourists. It's not great.

Make sure you spend time in Back Bay. That's pretty much my only recommendation. I'd try to make it up to see the Beacon Hill neighborhood also, right by the Common.

Mike,

Care to recommend good joints for clam chowder? I think Legal is pretty good, my only gripe with it is the quantity.

B&G Oysters is a sweet 'new' style seafood place w/ great chowda. also get the lobster BLT, great.

Summer Shack is a less touristy version of Legals. decent chowder.

Kingfish
