8 handed.
Blinds are 50/100 30 minute levels and we are about 10 mins into Level 2. Most raises up to 4xBB are being called by at least 2 people. And most pots that are limped are being called by at least 4 people. UTG (Hero) 2000 UTG+1 3200 Has been active and likes limping PaintX from any position. Will call down with 2nd pair. MP1 1500 Has not raised a hand and has only check called or check folded hands she has been in. LP 3000 Aggressive pre flop and on the flop in position. Hasn't had to show down any hands yet. CO 3100 Donkey. She thinks K9s is a raising hand from UTG+2 and really doesn't think enough about what other people might have. Button 2800 Solid TAG. Never shows and will position bet with air multi way to take a pot down. SB 4000 Huge LAG likes to call raises with any connectors or 1 gap connectors, he'll even call with 72o if he has position and a big stack. BB 2400 Best player at the table. This guy is a solid TAG. Hero is dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Action - UTG (Hero) limps, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, CO folds, Button folds, SB calls, BB checks. Flop (Pot is 500) - 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Action - Hero checks, UTG+1 bets 350, MP2 calls, SB calls, BB folds. Pot is 1550 and Hero has 1900 behind. Hero ? |

Great spot for your hand, although I wouldn't call this a huge draw, I don't think u can count your A as an out here. T9cc would be huge, this is a good draw (to the nuts) which is part of the reason why we shouldn't push here. If the read for UTG+1 (flop bettor) is correct, you have little/no fold equity, since he bet into 5 players on a coordinated flop.
Why would we want anyone to fold? The pot is big enough to take down now, but I don't think that you have nearly enough FE against UTG+1 to do so by shoving. Even if he is loose pf, he has to have at least 99/87/set here to bet this flop into 5 callers. Shoving IMO gets your money in bad, and even if you get priced out on a non-club turn and have to fold, you still have 10BB. You're getting the great pot odds (5 to 1) to call, even if you don't get paid off when you hit. |

although I wouldn't call this a huge draw [/ QUOTE ]This is a big draw. You are ahead of any one pair hand (excluding TT-AA or hand with A/T kicker). [ QUOTE ] I don't think u can count your A as an out here. [/ QUOTE ]It's probably an out against most hands that call a push. [ QUOTE ] Shoving IMO gets your money in bad [/ QUOTE ]We have exactly a PSB in our stack, we have at least 33% pot equity (and often even higher), and we might get called by more than one person (if we have 33% pot equity and get two callers, that is a good thing for us). Yeah, we are never folding anyone out here, but we are to short too play this slow. We have a big draw- time to get it in and hope we hit. |
