Yes. But you need to purchase the NY program and the Federal program. Or do both online.

If you purchase the CD version of TurboTax (Deluxe and up), you do get the state for free. For example, NY and NYC are together.

Does Turbo tax do local (municipal) returns? I haven't seen that feature advertised and I wasn't asked anything when going through the walk through of my return.

Turbo Tax does NYC and Yonkers, but they are basically part of the NY state return anyway. not sure about other local taxes.

That makes sense. I live in a small municipality in PA and I would be shocked if Turbo tax had that form available.
