soda, I hope you know I was partially serious and just having some fun with you. No shame in rebuilding a roll for whatever reason.

I used to play much higher than I currently play and feel no shame in doing so. My winrate has not suffered much and I generally enjoy playing more and stress far less.

Hey Soda,

Been a while, guess you have switched to nl too..

I think you are very likely to be best here, he probably has like KT,QT,JT, maybe AK, QJ, KJ, TT or whatever and is trying to keep the pot small/draw cheaply. Since you have top two and there are some cards that he thinks improves him that may make you stack him, I dont think you want to raise too much.

IŽd probably make it 45-60, with full stacks atleast...reload plz !?

With those stacks, I dont really think you need to make it much more than 40. Just play it in a way that if he calls turn, then he will be very committed by the river.

I dont really remember you posting aside from when 10/20 6m was the biggest short game on party, you seemed good though, how have you been doing since ?

I had been doing really well right up to the point where the US Congress declared it illegal to for US banks to transfer money to gambling sites. I took about 4 months off (a mistake in hindsight) and took almost all my money out, keeping a very modest $500 in Stars. When I came back I found out rather quickly that playing limit on Stars was not the way to go.

So, now I'm playing NL. Trying to learn a new game has been tough though. I had just become so comfortable with Limit that I could practically play in my sleep. I find that with NL, I actually have to pay attention. Blech, who needs that?

Anyway, thanks for the advice Trix - it's nice to see a friendly name on here.

I don't care what anybody says, two pair is never good here.

Again I agree with the exception that never is a bad word in poker. Top two is hardly ever good here IMO. Villain wants to get all the money in as quietly as possible. His line reps a big, big hand and on this board only AT and T9 are big.

I agree with this 100%. I thought a lot about this hand at each stage as it was posted and was going to post this independantly.
