$16: A couple of hands from tonight
Hand 1:
I haven't gotten to see what kind of hands villain has been raising, but I get the feeling that he was raising a little loose from later positions. Villain seems to be somewhat tight but I feel like I am definitely ahead of his range but am flipping against most of it. Do you think I have any fold equity here? Is there a line to take that involves calling? Re: $16: A couple of hands from tonight
I will generally call hand 1, although i've heard many advocates of folding. If it were suited I would probably push, but a push isn't bad with your holding methinks.
I shove hand 2, but I feel that it's close and struggle in these spots also. You have some FE, but I don't believe that it's always enough. I've seen weak aces here far too often. |

Highly read dependant.
1 is a fold for me most of the time. 2 is a fold agaisnt a serious player, push against otthers. |

Don't think you have fold equity in 2. He is pot commited. You are in excellent shape, no need to take big risks. You have a coinflip at best, i think. Fold.
