he's never folding a naked 7 here, and it looks like a weak "i dont like that river card but i still have to valuebet it" bet with 76. He has to assume that much of your range has a 7 in it, so if he's got QJ it should be a bigger valuebet.

so i'd push it to the limit.

Flop is fine with these stacks, and turn is standard/good.

well heres what i think about the flop that makes checking alright with me:

1) chances are neither of them has a piece, if we bet the flop we take it down right there much of the time.
2) we know all the cards that can do us wrong, and are in a position to react accordingly when they do
3) deception, nobody expects you to check a huge hand behind 2 people in a raised pot on that board
4) if we decide to play for stacks, we'll have it be on our terms

a few orbits ago he raises to 200 and calls a re-raise to 600 from the SB after some discussion (who had about 3000 total), then INSTA-CALLS and all-in for 2400 more or so with 3 4 on J 8 9 board.

pretty sure you may have been dealing with 2p2er obxnole.

Ahahahahaha. FSU, comments????

And for the love of god, stick the rest in on the river. Really sucks when you call and he tables A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] thinking it's the nuts.

Flop is kinda weird too, I'm betting here virtually 100% of the time for a variety of reasons.

what he said.

i cant honestly think of a reason to not shove this river against this player. i am speechless.

and LOL at lapoker's comment, where is that greatest hand ever played thread? it needs some updating.

edit: i just realized that you have less than $2700 left on the river. a;ldksjf;alskdjfa;skdjfa;lskdjf;.... minraise all in plz.

I put this donk all in on the turn. He will call with many worse hands. I don't think that he is even folding a slowplayed 2 pair. I don't think that he is bluffing and there are many scare cards on the river that can shut him down.

im with the rest of the 'get it in camp', but i also agree it seems like a really awful spot to mix it up.

you have so much more to play for, tons of cards that really hurt your action, and you could be taking a stab with tons of hands and therefore increase the likelihood of getting c/r'd on a board that leaves lots of room for hands to c/r. if everything goes right on the turn, checking this flop and raising the turn doesn't even look particularly weak.

T98 is a flop that hits someone almost everytime, set, 2pair, pair+str8 draw all these hands give you action you might loose if a bad turn card comes (7 or J for example).

also with your description of villian i think you are good here about 90% of the time, and more important you probably get paid off by a set too if you shove river. i might shove turn though, thats close.
