Default 25NL: Playing JJ on a connected board versus a maniac

I was rather lost in this hand, and my line reflected this. An awfully large number of hands have me beat here. Could you suggest a better line?

Would you always 3-bet on the button preflop? Assuming that it proceeded the way that it did, would you check behind on the turn?

I thought the flop action could mean an overpair or set, but the turn action seemed to make the set possibility unlikely. Is this true? The river put me in an awful position.

Villain is 68/45 based on a very small sample.

Please reraise this preflop, how nitty can u be.

PF is bad, which is why u find yourself in trouble post flop.
You beat nothing but a bluff, so I fold river.

Yeah definatly reraise the flop. 679 should ring warning bells. You can easily justify a push here.

Looks like you made a bunch of mistakes here, each one increasingly expensive. Based on my experience with maniacs, I'd do the following:

Definately 3-bet preflop, you're so far ahead of villains range.

On the flop, I'd consider pushing after his C/R.

When he C/R the flop and then checks the turn that looks awful weak, I'd push there.

As played I'd insta-fold the river.
