After making this post in my next session I had KK vs AA 3 times in 800 hands and I was about ready to throw up then within 700 more hands it happens again except i flop a K and take it down. that is 15 times within like 24,000 hands

Ya just after I read this I get KK with dude running 43/9/5 and he happens to have AA.
I will always play them with a donkshow like this kat. |

Typically, the 4th raise is AA. Good players know this though and will just smooth call the 3rd raise, then trap post-flop. I follow this rule often, and when I lay down my hand and they show the rockets, I feel really good about my hand reading logic.
Sometimes you'll catch an idiot making the 4th raise w/ a non-AA hand, but his stack is too short for you to fold, so you call them down and take their wee-little stack. |

Why do they show the rockets? I'd muck them. Why do live people show hands at all? I mean so many live HHies include "he folded xx faceup" or "he showed xx after I folded".

That I can see.... 2 out of 69 times someone had AA when I had KK. One time I managed to fold it on the flop luckily. The other time I got a $13 short stack all in pre-flop who I felt was on serious tilt. Unfortunately for me he had aces and eventually wound up with a set.
There may have been more times someone had Aces that I didn't see (either folded/mucked/or didnt show a winning hand). |

I was reading this post yesterday afternoon while playing the bodog 100k and the UB 200k. I had KK vs. AA's twice in about 60 hands. Thanks for the bad karma!
Fortuantely I was up against shortstack in one and the flop was suited in the other, so my losses were limited. |

Well, the chances of getting AA is roughly 220:1, so if you raise UTG with KK and there are 9 people behind you the about 1/25 times they will have you beat.

At a full ring table, its 1 in 23.5 and I'll take all action on that wager.
