you're straight is obvious b/c of the board. you're splitting at best and drawing dead most of the time i think. a lot of the time you're splitting you're also getting free-rolled

hmm. may i suggest it may be better to check the turn for pot control and to induce a bluff on the river from weaker hands.

you are WA/WB here, and i'm not sure what weaker hand calls this turn bet.

Turn check behind is good here. As played I think it's a fold unless villain has shown really retarded hands down.

I personally like the bet-fold play on the turn.

I think checking behind is bad because there are so many 1 card draws out there, and would hate to lose to KJ or something if a Q rivered, or any spade, or let 2 pair fill up etc.

Check turn. Yes, your draw got there but so did all the others.

Call a reasonable bet on the river. You'll loose sometimes to KQ/flush but he'll bet set/overpair/TP type hands too.

IMO this is usually the case, but against a 32/18 (with presumably high aggression) could show up with 9T or some [censored] here.

*edit* I personally have no idea what to do on the turn, but I usually bet fold *edit*

Result: after replaying previous hands in my head and going back through it as many times as I could in the 15 seconds allowed, I donkey kong called him...

Hero calls $58.20

River: ($227.90) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $227.90 ($3 Rake)

MP1 had T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (two pair, Tens and Nines)
Hero had A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a straight, Queen high)

I think you need to bet the turn because the pot is large and you don't want to give a free card to some crappy spade that would fold. Are you good here ~30% of the time? I think it is possible.
