Re: Unraised pot- What do you need to go broke?
I go broke here. Combo draws, sets are all in his range.
[ QUOTE ] What if you "knew" villain had A8 of spades. Are you still calling almost BI on this "close" a hand? A6 spades? [/ QUOTE ]With pleasure. If he has any hand I'm ahead of I go broke with pleasure. How could I not? [ QUOTE ] He is either crushing you, freerolling you, or you are a 3:2 favorite to a set or a combo straight/flush draw. [/ QUOTE ]You sure you're not talking about PLO Hi? |

Re: Unraised pot- What do you need to go broke?
id probably go broke with all them readless, although i might not 3-bet the flop. once that turn pairs the board im not folding without a solid read, and even then id only consider a fold w/ 22

Re: Unraised pot- What do you need to go broke?
Very good whoever brought up the combo draw- didn't even consider it in the heat of the moment. He showed 5-7 of spades and MHIG. So I was a small favorite on the flop, I believe.
Edit: If you were him, would you get it in on the flop in an unraised pot with that hand? I used to, but it seems like it adds a lot of variance. The problem is just calling and bricking the turn, then you're in trouble. |
