Villain is 22/14/7.3 in this case. Thoughts on all streets?
Particularly the river, I'm wondering if there's a way to approach this hand better. My river bet size required a call on his shove at 5.3 to 1. I think you played this fine, I might bet closer to 100 on the river. You probably want to take out results.

Raise preflop. The rest looks good though, nh

Set converter to 2p2 output.
Raise PF. Raise more on flop. Bet more on turn so its easier to get in on river. The pot would be big enough to push on river so push! Don't show results. |

You need to make a bigger bet on the turn imo. $55 would be good. Other than that it looks fine.

Thanks for the responses, this is one of those hands that you really are just going to go broke in. Although if I had raised preflop, Q9 would probably not have seen the pot and I'd have taken the blinds or the pot with a c-bet
How often do you guys use low pocket pairs to isolate a bad player? (UTG was insignificantly skilled). Many times I like to limp behind in hopes of a multiway pot, but raising pf is a good argument as I really am just playing the player and not so much my hand, although it has the capability of becoming a much better hand with a deuce flop. |
