Default .25 .50 PLO hand. Hows my play pf and on flop.

I am on the button with Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I have 25 behind. UTG limps. Cutoff raises to 1.50. I reraise to 4. Both call. (12.18)

Flop is J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Checked to me. I bet 7. UTG folds. Cutoff checkraises putting me all in.

I call.

Was betting flop a mistake?? What about pf reraise?

He's saying not to shortstack, and I think this spot is evidence of it. There is no possible hand you are behind on this flop. You are 56/43 against JJxx, and seeing as how you have a J, I'd consider that less likely. Do whatever you need to get all your chips in. You can't check behind this flop, so I think everything you did was 100% standard and solid.

Is re-raising PF here standard? What the hell do you do if you get re-raised and are smacked in the face with someone holding an AA ? I just dont see how this is a standard play - someone elaborate for me please.

I think it's a standard re-raise because just about any combination of AAxx really doesn't have you in that bad of shape (I think the absolute worst possibility is still only 70/30), and against the worst AAxx combos it's 50/50. If you get re-raised pf, you can easily smooth call and make a decision there. With this type of hand, there's no amount I'm folding to. I might hesitate to get my stack in pf with it, but you should be welcoming re-raises from AAxx combos. I want actions like hands with this, which is why I re-raise them.
