Not trying to hijack but I've noticed that not only can I normally not get the line you post but lines seem to move dramatically afterwards. For example right now Bal/Tam is at 9 1/2 O +110 U -130. Why the dramatic moves and is there a scalping opportunity here? (I did get -10 1/2 last night)

well, i'm glad i slept through that one. first inning and ninth inning both would have caused some tilt.
4/17 totals: (6-2-3, +5.00 pending three games today) Bos/Tor over 9 +105 (1) LAD/Ari over 9 -110 (1) Cle/NYY under 10.5 -120 (1) |

(seriously though, i don't really know, i started betting totals less than a week ago. i'm learning as i go.) |

I know this post is "no content" but, I loved that book crock. [/ QUOTE ] i feel i can hijack my own thread. i thought the book was okay. it did a good job presenting the atmosphere and the ups and downs of sports betting, and konik is a good writer telling a fairly interesting story. i was disappointed that the book really didn't delve into any of the winning methods the syndicate used, since it was subtitled "how the world's best sports bettors beat the bookies". even though this information would likely have been of zero betting value to me, it would have added to the story. |

Seriously wtf TB can't hold a 6-0 or 7-1 lead [/ QUOTE ] It took a three-error play for them to score their first run, this is one of the worst (or best if you like excitement at any cost) games I've ever seen. |
