One thing I have to say: There's alot of hate in here for officials not cancelling classes after the first shooting. Now for me, if I heard people were shot on campus and did not hear definite proof that the suspect was captured, I'M NOT GOING TO SCHOOL! I think the official act of cancelling classes is redundant at that point. Of course, that being said, the people in charge had to shut down the dorms to make sure no one got in to shoot more people. That's where they [censored] up, not the class cancelling thing.

The problem is that we weren't even warned until the 2nd shooting had already started. Forget people who live on campus, half of the student body lives off campus and doesn't have time to check their e-mail after, say, 9am. The second that a shooting was reported on campus, there should have been an e-mail out saying so.

What happened this morning was a horrible tragedy, and many innocent lives were lost.

Just because leatherface was very out of line, or someone asked if they should even care about this thread. Or people trying to scale this down to something less than what it really is.

Forget what those people said/did. Do not give them the negative attention that they want. Forget about what they said and ignore it.

This was posted in BBV4L and a few posters in bbv4l goto school at VT.

Let this thread be for them. Let this thread just be something where the COMMUNITY of bbv4l ( it is a community you know ) can express their deep feelings, sympothy, best wishes, hopes, and prarys

Just take a minute out of your life to really think and hope the best for those in need. Not give negative attention to worthless people that don't deserve the time of day.


So to all of the people at VT, and those with loved ones.

This whole event took me by surprise. I was currnetly wraped up in myself and didn't think much about the world around me. This event really opeened my eyes, and made me realize that things we take for granted may not always be there. So please be safe and caution, my best wishes and prays.
