why did you bet so much on the flop? 150-180 is the standard bet here.
As played you have to push the turn

At this level, I like to play my strong hands strongly ... The bet is designed to efine his hand ... I put enough in the pot to give him incentive to come over the top with Aces or Kings, but enough so that I could possibly get away with it ... It's also designed to price out the flush draw, and make TPTK pay for being a donk ...

I have no idea what your flop bet is going to accomplish. If he is on a draw you essentially force him to play correclty (i.e. fold; if he still calls, great). If he has solid values you lose the max.

Bet like 3/4 on the flop and then maybe 1/2 on the turn.

As played, shove turn.

So he defined his hand by calling (if he's competent he's clearly saying "I have an overpair severely beat") and still you shove the turn?

Nah, 3x is good here. You're opening in late position with a strong hand and you want action.

Edit: I just realized that we're OOP. So I wouldn't hate a 4x-raise.

A pot size bet is enough on the flop. Anyway you will want to go all in when possible with this hand / this board.
