Default WTF is this raise? Sunday second chance

Villain is moosetund, a thinking player who I've noticed tends to make LARGE raises with good hands, but this is also my 3rd straight round raising button.

Anyone doing something other than shoving here?

looks absolutely standard- surely that is the perfect scenario, raise his button constantly and have a hand when he decides to play back. I know early but AK so far ahead of his range.

Well I doubt he has Aces, or even Kings. He probably would have made it like 600 or so with those hands. (or so you would think) I would say if he had a small-mid pair he would probably just flat call. To me, he has a big Ace, a mid-high pair (9s-Jacks, MAYBE Queens even would fit in this range) or air (thinking you're just raising from the button. I would have to say pushing is the correct play as well. I don't think you can just flat call here leaving yourself under 4000 in chips. Also, by you pushing, you put some fold equity into the equation. If he is a type of player is not willing to play a coin flip early in a tournament, then pushing is a great play cause he'll fold a hand as high as Jacks (sometimes queens also). Another hand he would fold in this spot too is the same hand you have, AK. Thinking that you are the one with the high pair, he wouldn't want to race his chips off (or so he thought it was a race in his eyes).

So you are discounting Bond's very clear read? It seems that Bond is saying that if this guy has AA/KK he would make the exact raise that he made in this hand. The question posed to you is if the fact that Bond has stolen the blinds 3 rotations in a row makes the BBs reraising range big enough that he should 3 bet shove.

In my opinion this is a shove given your previous history of blind stealing.

Bond,
Do you think that the villain will call your shove with AJ/AQ? with 66-TT?

Gotta elaborate on the read a little bit. Folding's not totally out of the question, but I'd usually push.

wtf at his raise, but this deep i would fold. i can't imagine we have him dominated very often and i just don't think there is much +cEV in this spot, if any.

i think he definitely can have a monster here. i might just live for another day . at this level do we need to really start gambling yet? given bonds read i fold but the high risk high reward play is to sjhove as he did. even against kk you can draw out 1/3 of the time
